A marketplace to showcase your business, products and services

Different businesses need different ways to showcase themselves to their audiences. The flagship FSC. Conference 2022 provided a flexible space to deliver innovative communications, and the theme provided the opportunity to innovate and show products and services through a different lens. Throughout the rest of 2022, there are opportunities at, for example, topic specific seminars, political debates, research and reports.

Growing Conference

Providing leading edge, global and market insights, the conference programme delivered a combination of high profile and quality keynote speakers and presenters via plenary and specialist workstream sessions. We heard first-hand from experts, gaining access to real-time political insights and the latest thinking on global challenges. Combining professional and personal development, the programme provided tangible value for delegates.

Annual Awards Programme

We were delighted to present the industry awards at a gala dinner on the first night of the conference. The awards showcase excellence and industry best practice, the movers and shakers and the rising stars. The Gala Dinner and Awards provides an opportunity for both brand promotion and for sharing knowledge among peers.

Access to a network of the who’s who in Financial Services

We reach thousands of people in the Financial Services industry. We saw over 1250 delegates at our 'Navigating Regulation' and 'Get In Shape' Advice Summits, over 600 delegates at the 2019 conference and 1550 at the Generations Digital Conference 2020, over 4000 at the ReGenerations Digital Conference, and engage many more through media, our key publications and newsletters. We reach a diverse group of product manufacturers, distributors and the suppliers who support the financial services sector as well as politicians and regulators. Not only did sponsors get the opportunity to be face-to-face with the community, there was also the opportunity to showcase their business through other FSC channels.

Conference Exhibition Spaces

We encouraged sponsors to think beyond the traditional exhibition and incorporate innovation and elements of this year's conference theme to their space. Your needs are personal to your business, so our events team developed options with sponsors to drive their brand at the conference and bring their space to life. For smaller start-up tech firms, we offered a value for money alternative Tech Alley booth to showcase new tech innovations.

Attracting Delegates

In 2021, we undertook direct communications to members and those in or interested in the financial services industry, which were supported by media, social media and other communications from the FSC.

With an expaneded database in 2022 and are growing reach through media and social media, we were able to let thousands of people people know about the conference.

ReGenerations Conference 2021

Our 2021 conference 'ReGenerations' built on previous themes of Wellbeing, Sustainability and Guardianship. The Maori whakataukī (or proverb), He Waka Eke Noa, builds on these themes by highlighting the importance of recovery and going forward together in both good and trying times. With a literal translation 'We are all in this waka (canoe) together' this whakataukī centres in meaning around our whānau and community: being on the same journey, headed to the same destination and leaving no one behind.

The 2021 conference ran digitally over nine weeks with 16 sessions and two conference day sessions, with breakfast, main plenary and sundowner sessions.

With 148 speakers and over 37 sessions, the ReGenerations Digital Conference 2021 saw over 950 registrations with over 4000 session attendees.

Generations Conference 2020

The 2020 theme, Generations, reflected not only the responsibility that the financial services sector has to support our different generations to save, invest and retire well, but also challenged each and every one of us to be better. Better custodians for future Generations, better at supporting our teams and our customers balance their wellbeing, and better at creating a sustainable future.

The 2020 conference was fully digital over three days, with breakfast, main plenary and sundowner sessions.

With 120+ speakers and over 35 sessions, the Generations Digital Conference 2020 saw 1550 live attendees.

Towards Wellbeing Conference 2019

The 2019 theme, Towards Wellbeing, reflects how the Government's Wellbeing ambition translates into the Financial Services sector, beyond the obvious ‘Financial Wellbeing’ and exploring how we can support our teams and our customers balance health and social wellbeing day-to-day.

Great content drives great conferences, following breakfast sessions, the focus of the conference moved to the Main Platform, where we welcomed our political and regulatory leaders. Delegates then chose between wellbeing, insurance or investment workstreams throughout the day between the Main Platform sessions. The Gala Awards Dinner celebrated the achievements of many in the industry and there was plenty of opportunities for delegates to network, speak to exhibitors and catch-up with colleagues throughout the conference.
