FSC25 Conference
The FSC25 Conference built on the success of previous years and proved to be our best yet. We were thrilled to welcome members and attendees from across the sector and beyond for two days filled with valuable insights and networking opportunities.
From 10-11 September, over 600 delegates from the financial services sector and beyond gathered to hear from senior Ministers, regulators, CEOs, industry experts, academics, and entrepreneurs. The discussions focused on the sector's role in enhancing the resilience of everyday New Zealanders and guiding them toward greater prosperity.

"What an amazing conference. I liked how relaxed it was and very free flowing so I could pop in and out when I liked. A huge thank you to the organisers, what a strong couple of days."
"Extremely well organised and being able to order coffee was a great touch!"
"First time attendee and found it amazing. Good balance of less'sexy' content alongside innovations showcasing the depth of talent we have in NZ. Found the Fintech session in the a.m. of day 2 particularly fascinating. Being from Wellington thought the range of politicians was top tier, their comments and views will give us a sense of the future direction. Will definitely be keen to attend again in future!"
"Great spread of politicians, regulators etc to hear their insights and plans. I think that's a draw card. The inclusion of the CEO lunch got more CEOs along which is good support of the conference - I'd look to repeat that great job FSC team!"
"Well run inclusive event."

Conference Charity Partner
A total of $7,410 was raised for the FSC25 Conference Charity Partner, to help meet their target of assisting 6,000 women per year by 2027.

Tech Alley and Pitch Perfect 2023
Tech Alley is marketplace where attendees could meet with pioneering FinTech, InsurTech, HealthTech, EduTech and RegTech Kiwi companies, learn about their products and understand how they could help enhance their businesses and the financial services sector.
Tech Alley was located as part of the main sponsorship and partner exhibition area.
The Financial Services Council aims to fuel innovation in the sector and Pitch Perfect sparks that flame. All startup tech companies and Tech Alley attendees were welcome to pitch their tech at our breakfast session on 21 September, and the winners were invited to pitch their innovation on the main plenary stage later that day. See the winners here.

Thank you to our Tech Alley and Pitch Perfect partner

The Voices of Hope

Growing Financial Confidence & Wellbeing in Aotearoa 2022
The FSC. Conference 2022 theme reflected the FSC. Vision to ‘Grow the Financial Confidence and Wellbeing of New Zealanders’.
Our 2022 theme built on those from previous conferences including ReGenerations, and acted as our guide as we continue our journey through uncertain pandemic and economic times.
We welcomed over 645 delegates, sponsors and speakers back in person to the FSC. Conference 2022 at The Cordis Hotel in Auckland over the 21 + 22 September 2022.

ReGenerations Conference 2021
Our 2021 conference 'ReGenerations' built on previous themes of Wellbeing, Sustainability and Guardianship. The Maori whakataukī (or proverb), He Waka Eke Noa, builds on these themes by highlighting the importance of recovery and going forward together in both good and trying times. With a literal translation 'We are all in this waka (canoe) together' this whakataukī centres in meaning around our whānau and community: being on the same journey, headed to the same destination and leaving no one behind.
The 2021 conference ran digitally over nine weeks with 16 sessions and two conference day sessions, with breakfast, main plenary and sundowner sessions.
With 148 speakers and over 37 sessions, the ReGenerations Digital Conference 2021 saw over 950 registrations with over 4000 session attendees.

Generations Conference 2020
The 2020 theme, Generations, reflected not only the responsibility that the financial services sector has to support our different generations to save, invest and retire well, but also challenged each and every one of us to be better. Better custodians for future Generations, better at supporting our teams and our customers balance their wellbeing, and better at creating a sustainable future.
The 2020 conference was fully digital over three days, with breakfast, main plenary and sundowner sessions.
With 120+ speakers and over 35 sessions, the Generations Digital Conference 2020 saw 1550 live attendees.
