Asia Region Fund Passport (ARFP) Industry Day 21 September

There were interesting debates today at our Industry Day jointly hosted with the Financial Markets Authority (FMA) New Zealand about the Asia Region Fund Passport (ARFP). It was a pleasure to welcome Minister Faafoi and the funds passport country regulator representatives from Japan, Australia, The Republic of Korea, Thailand, New Zealand pilot organisation SmartShares and advisers DLA Piper.

The session included details of passport regulations in each jurisdiction, how to get involved and the official ARFP launch on 1 February next year for those countries that have the legal and regulatory frameworks in place.
